Raw materials from the region

Concrete, glass and aluminium affirm the essential ruggedness of a building dropped in a landscape between mountains and motorway. A mixture of gravel, water and cement, the concrete used was in part extracted from the Reuss.

The door giving entry to the area of contemplation, the alcove seating and the interior wall panelling are all of beech. The use of wood, a warm material, is an indicator of the preciousness of the room, and contrasts with the concrete benches of the courtyard.
